Advertiser Disclosure

How Tribal Loans Apply is compensated, what that means for the content you see, and the FTC endorsement guide standards we follow.

How we make money

Tribal Loans Apply is an advertising-supported comparison and review service. When a visitor submits a loan application through our site and is subsequently funded by one of the Tribal Lending Entities in our partner network, we may receive compensation from that lender. Compensation varies by lender, loan amount, and conversion status.

Our primary advertising partner is APIdiamond, which operates the application platform used on this site. Lenders in the APIdiamond network pay performance-based fees to APIdiamond, a portion of which is shared with publishers like Tribal Loans Apply.

What compensation affects

Compensation may affect which lenders are featured on our site, which lenders appear first in our comparison tables, and which lenders are highlighted in editorial content. Lenders that pay higher compensation are not automatically ranked higher — our editorial team controls ordering based on our methodology — but compensation is a factor in which lenders we include in the first place.

What compensation does not affect

The APR ranges, loan amounts, repayment terms, and other factual details we publish about each lender. These are drawn from the lenders' own published rate pages and are not negotiated or influenced by advertising arrangements.

The content of our reviews — including criticisms, cautions, and recommendations to consider cheaper alternatives — is written by our editorial team independently of our advertising partners. We regularly recommend credit union payday alternative loans and other non-advertised alternatives when those are better fits for a specific borrower profile.

Our willingness to flag lenders with poor practices, undisclosed pricing, lawsuits, or regulatory issues.

FTC 16 CFR Part 255 compliance

This disclosure is intended to satisfy the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides at 16 CFR Part 255, which require clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections between an endorser (us) and the products we endorse (tribal loans). The material connection is that we receive compensation when visitors become funded loan customers of lenders featured on our site.

Not a loan broker

Tribal Loans Apply is not a licensed loan broker. We do not negotiate loan terms, do not match borrowers to lenders ourselves, and do not have discretion over which lender funds any given application. Application processing and lender matching are handled by APIdiamond and its participating lenders.

Not a lender

Tribal Loans Apply is not a Tribal Lending Entity, is not affiliated with any Native American tribe, and does not have any ownership interest in any lender featured on this site.

Compensation and content separation

Our editorial standards require that reviews and comparisons reflect our actual assessment of each lender's product. When our editorial assessment of a featured lender is negative on any dimension — high APR, undisclosed pricing, legal history, limited state availability, poor repeat-borrower pricing — we publish that assessment regardless of our compensation arrangement with that lender.

If you believe any content on this site misrepresents a lender's product in a way that favors our advertising arrangements, we want to know. Email [email protected] with the specific concern.
